Mt Lyford Ski field is an ideal family skifield. It’s location guarantees a sunny aspect which makes it fantastic for children enjoying the learners slope in the sheltered basin. The ski season runs in general between mid June and late September. Lifts open at 9 am and close at 4 pm.
REACH THE TOP
For the the more adventurous the skifield provides challenging runs for intermediate and advanced skiers. The field offers 1x T-bar, 2x platters, 1x 180-m fixed grip and a recently extended rope tow to the top of Terako. A wild terrain park with jumps, kickers and rails keeps the adventurous happy.
The Terako Day Lodge (alt 1510m), restaurant and car park is centrally located. The big windows in the lodge provide a great view over the skifield.
Ski and snow board hire is available next to the ticket office at the base of Terako Day lodge.
A daily SHUTTLE service is available for transport up to the mountain. Pick up at 9.30am from top of Mt Lyford Village – Return from Ski Area car park 4.15pm.
